Pet Policy

The Siena Hotel warmly welcomes your four-legged friends to our hotel! As one of the few pet friendly hotels in Reno, we proudly invite animals under 50 lbs. to stay at the Siena Hotel. After each visit, our pet friendly rooms undergo a special cleaning process to ensure a first class experience for you and your furry friend. A one-time, $50.00 pet fee is required, and pets are limited to the first five floors of our hotel. Suites are not offered for guests traveling with pets.

To ensure the safety and comfort of our two-legged guests, the Siena Hotel has a few guidelines for guests traveling with pets. Please be aware that no pet or service animal should ever be left alone in our guest rooms or allowed to roam the property unattended. Pets are not permitted in the pool area or food outlets, with the exception of passing through. Failure to comply could result in either temporary or permanent deferral, without the possibility of a refund for services.

The Siena Hotel reserves the right to eject any animal (including ADA animals) that may become disruptive. In accordance with ADA Requirements, reasons for dismissal include, but are not limited to:

  • Complaints from other guests regarding noise or disruptive behavior
  • Barking or other nighttime activity that keeps guests awake
  • Destructive or violent behavior (Hotel reserves all rights to charge the guest for damages incurred.)

Enjoy a scenic walk with your dog when you stay at the Siena Hotel, located on the banks of the beautiful Truckee River and the iconic Reno Riverwalk. Take a ten minute stroll to the pet friendly Wingfield Park, situated on a small island in the Truckee River or visit the gorgeous Rancho San Rafael Park, located two miles from our Riverfront hotel.

Terms of Service

A major credit card is required at check-in for any possible incidental charges. The credit card will be authorized for up to $50.00. For non-suite reservations, a $150.00 refundable deposit can be used in lieu of a credit card. Credit cards are also required on all suite reservations and may be pre-authorized between $200.00 and $500.00.

  • Check-In: 3:00 p.m.
  • Check-Out: 11:00 a.m.
  • $11.00 (plus tax) resort fee and $2.00 City of Reno surcharge per night
  • Debit cards may have a pending authorization hold for up to 10 business days
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to make reservations or check in to a room. Valid identification is required upon check-in
  • All reservation requests must have the first and last name(s) of the adult(s) occupying the room(s)
  • To receive our Government Rate, guests must show current government-issued identification at check-in
  • Rates are subject to change without notice until confirmed
  • Bed type and other requests are noted as preferences but are not guaranteed and will be honored on space-available basis
  • Pictures and floor plans on the website may not reflect the actual room that will be assigned
